A hydrophilic PU membrane due to its 'water-loving' properties, occasionally cause a slight puckering effect on the surface of the material, particularly on lighter-coloured garments, when exposed to heavy moisture. We recommend hanging your rain gear to dry after use.
Leaving it packed away while wet may cause the fabric to retain moisture, which can impact the garments freshness and long-term performance

  • Tumble dry medium heat, remove promptly.
  • Iron at medium temperature 150°/300F.
  • Do not dry clean.

I took screen shots of conversations with the customer service. Not very good customer service skills. Item took literally two weeks to receive. I bought two pieces. The second piece i bought a week later got to me in 7 days. They fumbled that one by delaying the shipping process from friday to tuesday after creating the shipping label on friday. They couldn’t get it to the shipping for 2 business days. Seems inefficient. Now the clothing. It may say waterproof but i beg to differ. The fitting guide chart, you probably will have to go down a size for the correct fit. I wont send send my items back because i fear they will claim they didn’t receive the package or i wont get the item back since i am dealing with this incompetent overseas company. Good luck and see you on the golf course in Ireland!

Great material, no inside pockets for a cell phone, does not have a snap for hood attachment.

I am typically a medium and thought the arm room is slightly tight, but i thjnk the large will be to big in the arm length

Really nice jacket, was concerned it would be more of an “off course” piece but it’s really comfortable to wear when playing and looks great to wear casually as well.

Argus Jacket Comments

I recently acquired the Argus waterproof to augment my Alister and Action golfing jackets. I was especially attracted to the hood feature which has proven very useful on casual walks during inclement weather this Spring. While not as "stretchy" as the two aforementioned jackets, the waterproof performance is typically up to Galvin Green standards. It is well-worth the money!!

Looking forward

I only gave the jacket four out of five stars because I haven’t used it yet, but the ordering process was very good… the online catalog was easy to shop on, payment process was simple and tracking delivery was automatic. Everything so far top notch.
