Argus is a Pertex Shield stretch hooded jacket aesthetically inspired by streetwear but with fit and technology geared for the golf course. The kangaroo-like pocket, wide cuffs and tabs, and embroidery-like logo print make this directional jacket distinctively different to the main collection.

This jacket offers 100% waterproof and windproof protection, ensuring you stay dry and comfortable in wet weather. Argus also includes breathable stretch fabric, adjustable cuffs, and a smooth interior for ease of movement, while the PFC-free water repellent treatment and shaped sleeves enhance both performance and sustainability.

A hydrophilic PU membrane due to its 'water-loving' properties, occasionally cause a slight puckering effect on the surface of the material, particularly on lighter-coloured garments, when exposed to heavy moisture. Great material, no inside pockets for a cell phone, does not have a snap for hood attachment.

I am typically a medium and thought the arm room is slightly tight, but i thjnk the large will be to big in the arm length

Argus Jacket Comments

I recently acquired the Argus waterproof to augment my Alister and Action golfing jackets. I was especially attracted to the hood feature which has proven very useful on casual walks during inclement weather this Spring. While not as "stretchy" as the two aforementioned jackets, the waterproof performance is typically up to Galvin Green standards. It is well-worth the money!!
