NEW, INSPIRATION AND GUIDES FROM TEAM GALVIN GREEN

Jordan Smith is off to A Fast Start in 2022

A new addition to Team Galvin Green, Jordan Smith has capped a stellar start to his debut season with three top 12 finishes in a row, including a runner-up performance at the Ras al Khaimah Championship at Al Hamra Golf Club in February.

Fresh off the back of a ninth place finish at the Slync.io Dubai desert Classic, Jordan put together a scintillating weekend of golf that saw him finish four shots off the lead. With seven birdies in his final round, four of which coming in the opening nine holes, Jordan carded an impressive 20 under-par for the week which saw him rise up 60 places in the Official World Golf Rankings to 186. As well as a great result at the weekend Jordan also achieved his first ever albatross during a practice round on the Par 5 third hole.

Since joining Team Galvin Green, Jordan has shown excellent form, finishing inside the top 12 on all three of his starts in what looks likely to be a breakthrough year for the Englishman. Jordan already has one DP World Tour to his name, claiming his maiden victory at the Porsche European Open in 2017. Currently sat 7th in the DP World Tour Rankings, he will be hoping to continue his fine run of form into next week's Ras Al Khaimah Classic, also held at the Al Hamra Golf Club.

“I feel really good about this year and I’m happy with the changes that I’ve made,” said Jordan. “I’m really happy with the work that I’ve put in off and on the course, so I'm really looking forward to the rest of the year,” he added.

Reaching temperatures as high at 28 degrees over the weekend in Ras Al Khaimah, Jordan kept his cool to shoot back to back rounds in the 60’s to fend off the chasing pack and secure second place by three shots. To remain as cool and calm as possible, Jordan chose to wear the MACK shirt in Pink/Black with matching NOAH black trousers in highly breathable and lightweight VENTIL8™ Plus stretch fabric that offers UV protection 20+.

“Jordan has already proved to be a fantastic ambassador for Galvin Green,” said CEO Nicholai Stein. “He has made an excellent start to the year and we hope he continues to go from strength to strength this season trusting our apparel every step of the way,” he added.
