Drake is a high tech golf mid layer that is soft, stretchy and comfortable. Cut from a new eco-generation of INSULA™ materials, this fabric is made from recycled plastic bottles and is bluesign® approved fabric. Available in a variety of colours, we recommend you size up for a looser fit.

Drake is our best selling, solid high tech golf mid layer and has established itself as a mainstay garment in the Galvin Green collection. This practical half zip is extremely breathable and provides warming effect #2, which provides excellent thermal insulation. Designed to be worn as a mid layer on a cool day, or an outer layer on a warm day, Drake is a versatile piece for the golf course and beyond.

Top quality mid layer

I borrowed one of a friend and I thought I’m getting one of these, a good quality top, I have numerous Galvin Green outerwear garments and I think you have to go a long way to find a good match, for quality ,been wearing Galvin green for many years, highly recommended !!

This is my second Drake, I liked the first one so much. I also have an insulating layer #1 and #3 and think this Drake, rated at #2 is spot on in terms of keeping me warm right between the other 2. Color is neutral and will pair nicely with a lot of other colors.

Comfortable, warm mid-layer!

I love this mid-layer! I played my first round yesterday in coolish conditions (5C with wind + sun). This was perfect under my Galvin Green black golf jacket. Then the temperature went up to 10C, I took off the jacket and just wore this mid layer. It was perfect! It kept me warm and stretches easily, so that my golf swing was not restricted at all! I highly recommend this mid-layer and any GG product for that matter! Happy golfing!

Great mid layer!

Bought this along with L1 and an L3 thermals and have worn in a variety of conditions, from 28*F to 65*F thus far. I was always warm, dry and comfortable. It takes a little trial-and-error to figure out the right combination given the conditions but I'm learning. On top of comfort, just looks good too!
