AREA SALES MANAGER | SOUTH OF ENGLAND

Position Overview:

The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth and brand visibility in the South UK territory. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, a passion for golf, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets. Execute sales plans to maximize Galvin Green's market share in the South UK region.

Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, golf clubs, and retail partners. Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Product Knowledge and Training: Stay up-to-date on Galvin Green's product offerings, technologies, and industry trends. Conduct training sessions for retail staff and key accounts to enhance product knowledge and brand awareness.

Market Analysis: Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback. Provide regular reports and feedback to the management team on market conditions and opportunities.

Achieving Targets: Meet and exceed sales targets through effective planning, execution, and follow-up. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand Galvin Green's presence in the territory.

Event and Promotion Coordination: Collaborate with marketing teams to organize and participate in events, trade shows, and promotions. Represent Galvin Green at industry events and contribute to brand visibility.

Budget Management: Manage the assigned budget efficiently, ensuring maximum return on investment. Track and report expenses in a timely and accurate manner.

Reporting to National Manager: Compile and submit regular reports to the National Sales Manager, providing insights into sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities within the South UK region. Collaborate with the National Manager to develop strategies based on data-driven analysis and market intelligence. Ensure timely communication of key developments, challenges, and opportunities that may impact the overall sales performance. Participate in regular conference calls or meetings with the National Manager to discuss regional updates, progress, and strategies.

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum of 5 years experience and proven track record in sales, within the golf industry.

Strong understanding of the golf market in the South UK region.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Results-oriented with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.

Flexibility to travel within the assigned territory.
