Golf Digest, the biggest and most influential golf magazine in the United States, has chosen the Galvin Green ARROW jacket for its ‘Best Rain Gear’ award.
The flagship waterproof jacket beat stiff competition, including Zero Restriction’s Pinnacle jacket, to win the Editors’ Choice award, as chosen by Editor-in-Chief Jerry Tarde.
The accolade was part of the inaugural awards held by the magazine covering every aspect of the game from clothing to hardwear and courses to golf breaks, for the benefit of its 6.5 million readers, and nearly 1.5 million unique monthly website visitors.
“Galvin Green uses the latest GORE-TEX fabrics and includes features like rain channels at the sleeve's end that flow moisture away from your hands. It's the little details that define great outerwear and it's why the European Ryder Cup team has trusted Galvin Green to make its rainwear,” said Tarde.
The ultimate full-zip jacket is available in five striking colours and combines GORE-TEX® Stretch fabric and non-stretch material providing maximum flexibility in the golf swing.
“This is a very special award for Galvin Green to win,” said CEO, Christian Nilsson.
“I’d like to thank Golf Digest for the recognition and those in the company who have made this possible,” he added.
